Consignment Portal Training: Receiving Materials

Receiving materials in the Consignment Portal is a straightforward process that helps manage inventory efficiently. When a shipment arrives, users can navigate to the "awaiting receipt" tab to check the status of their replenishment orders. Items that are still in the warehouse are shown in white, while those in transit are highlighted in green. Once the shipment is received, users select the items by checking the boxes next to them, and items with the same invoice number are automatically grouped together. After selecting the items, clicking "receive order" prompts the user to enter the associated PO number. If multiple PO numbers are involved, only items matching the entered PO number will be moved to the on-hand inventory, while the rest remain in the awaiting receipt list. For receiving items from multiple POs simultaneously, the "receive partial" button can be used, allowing users to confirm and receive all selected items at once. This process ensures that inventory is accurately updated and managed within the portal.
